Visiting a church for the first time can be a little intimidating. People tend to worry about what to wear and what to say. Here at Freeburg CBC we take the worry and put it were it belongs . . . . outside. We are not about standards or rituals. We are all about you and where you are right now spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. We don't pressure or judge; we invite and encourage.
About the Dress Code
The code around here is whatever you're comfortable with, ranging from jeans to ties or both.
About Our People
We’re like a family around here, growing in many ways each day. Just like any other family we all have problems from big to small, but we still love each other. We don’t have all the answers but we are always ready to lend an ear or a hand whenever we can.
About Our Messages
Our messages here are just like a thousand dollar bill. They’re extremely valuable yet very functional, able to enhance many areas in your life. Just like it says “ln God We Trust,” you can trust our messages are directly from God’s Word, nothing counterfeit here. And you can take that to the bank! It’s up to you what they can do in your life.
About Our Services
Our Sunday service is a little over an hour long. The message and worship music are a contemporary blend, relative to today’s culture and geared toward helping you live a life for Christ. Movie clips and dramas are sometimes used to enhance the message. Yes, we love it when there is laughing and clapping.
About Our Kids and Teens
We have every age and love each one. Children are a gift from God, and they have a special place here!
